NTdetect

Welcome / Croeso

Hi there, I'm NTdetect (or just NT for short), and I often do weird things with old computers and old software. None of it is typically helpful or useful for any reason other than I thought "Oh, that'll be cool/interesting/fun". For some reason, I like Windows Vista, and Windows Mobile it's an illness really.

Usually I'm doing something with legacy Windows versions, that's Vista and earlier. But sometimes I even do things with modern operating systems. Like OS X Mavericks.

I modelled the design of this website after the Windows Vista website, circa 2007. Not perfect, far from it really. But I like it. It's Aero-like enough for me. For now. Maybe I'll improve it in the future.

Sometimes I even do things with cars. For those interested my car is a 2016 Volkswagen Golf 1.6TDI BM

Some Things I Use

Some Computers I Own

This is not every computer I own, as that would be a bit obsurd considering how many I do own, but it is just some of them I own. Mostly ones I think are interesting or are notable. If you're wondering how many I own, I own 16 PCs (1 is a G4 Mac), and 12 (working) laptops of varying quality, and 1 Valve Steam Deck 1TB OLED (from 2023).
